Perhaps it is time for us to look at Trinity College in Oxford. This is where Rossi was when he wrote his letters back in 1930 and by chapter 9 we are getting used to

“My dear and unfortunate successor”

Well lets have a look at the library

But if we check out their website it says that the Old library is where they would have looked for ancient works

The Old Library

Contains early printed books (fifteenth to nineteenth century), mainly in classics, theology and topology, with some science and medicine. Researchers must apply in advance to the Librarian, and access is limited to the usual office hours. The Danson Library adjoins the Old Library and, following a major refit to provide aditional shelving for some of the Old Library collection, it and the Old Library will reopen in summer 2011.
